Saturday, February 25th: "Meet the Maker" Handmade Habitat
Come by the store on Saturday Feb. 25th to meet Amina Ahmad, the Owner and DC Maker behind the #madeinDC Handmade Habitat line we carry. She will be showing her new scents and creations at the store from 11am-2pm. Our neighbors at Capital Teas will be providing delicious refreshments.
Wednesday, March 1st: Book Club with Kathy Pugh
Book club is back in March! Join us for a 3 mile easy run around the Capitol and back, followed by a book discussion of Run the World led by Kathy Pugh of EZ8DC. Run the World goes through Becky's year long exploration of the varied approaches of runners across the globe and she shares the secrets to success from the runners and coaches she met along the way.
Every Saturday: DC Road Runner's CHC 10k Training Program (Mar 18-May 21)
Are you interested in the Capitol Hill Classic 10k? DC Road Runners will be leading a Spring training program out of Summit to Soul from March 18th through May 21st. The group will be coached by Capitol Hill's own Kathy Pugh (also of EZ8DC) and is welcome to runners of all abilities. Group training runs will leave the store every Saturday at 9:00am. The program will also offer a running schedule for participants' independent runs during the week. The training program is free to all current members of DC Road Runners and anyone else interested can learn more and join/sign-up here!
